Pilar, Dental Assistant

With over 28 years of experience in the dental field, Pilar has been a valued member of the Woodside Dental Care team for more than 21 years. Originally from Palmira Valle, Colombia, Pilar studied dental hygiene at University Del Valle and began her career in public health. Known for her caring nature and attention to detail, Pilar takes pride in helping patients feel confident about their dental health. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their dog.

Hitsel, Dental Assistant

Hitsel is a dedicated dental assistant at our practice, bringing energy, compassion, and a love for helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. Originally from Corona, Queens, NY, and proudly Mexican, she discovered her passion for dentistry working at a dental office in Queens. Outside the office, Hitsel enjoys running, photography, concerts, traveling to Mexico, and spending time with her mom, little brother, and her cats, Benny and Benji.

Emilie, Dental Assistant

Emilie has several years of experience in dentistry under her belt, with formal training in dental assisting from East Coast Dental Tech and additional studies at Bristol Community College. She holds dental radiology and CPR certifications, with experience gained through continuing education and hands-on clinical work. She enjoys working as part of a strong team and helping patients through direct, hands-on care. Emilie spent her childhood in Lakeville, MA, and Colorado before returning to Massachusetts on her own. She spends most of her free time with family and friends.

Kay, Dental Hygienist

Kay has half a decade of experience in dentistry, starting as a dental assistant at Woodside for 3 years before becoming a dental hygienist. She attended Southeastern Technical Institute and Cape Cod Community College. She enjoys building lasting relationships with patients while making a meaningful impact on their oral and overall health. Originally from Assonet, MA, Kay is engaged and her fiancé, and she loves spending time with her family and their chocolate Labrador. She enjoys going on walks and to the beach in the summer. A fun fact about her is that she shares the same birthday as her father!

Jennifer, Registered Dental Hygienist

Jennifer’s favorite part of her career is helping patients feel comfortable and being able to provide a judgement-free zone for them to ask any questions they may have about their oral health. She has her Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing as well as her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, and she has been in the dental field for over 15 years. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband of over 20 years and their two sons. You can also find her speed reading mysteries, gardening, and spending time outside with her 12 chickens or at the beach!

Serina, Patient Care Coordinator

Serina has been in the dental field for several years, beginning in medical settings before transitioning to dentistry. A graduate of Bristol Community College and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, she loves being part of an amazing team, especially being at the front of the office. Originally from Fall River, MA, Serina remains very close with her parents and enjoys spending her free time reading and relaxing at the beach or pool. At home, she is a proud cat mom to Sirius and Tux, and has been with her boyfriend for over a decade. She has also already read almost 50 books in 2026 and plans to read more!

Michelle, Front Desk

Michelle has over four decades of experience in dentistry, having spent her entire career working at the front desk and supporting patient care through daily coordination and office experience. The best part of her job is being able to interact with our patients and working with a great team. Originating from Fall River, MA, Michelle comes from a close-knit family and enjoys spending her free time at the beach and reading.
